Mechanical Failure

When a part or parts of a vehicle fail it is either down to wear and tear, mechanical failure of the component or possibly that something has been fitted incorrectly. We at Hadrian Assessors have many years of experience examining components, it may well be that the vehicle is under a warranty from the manufacturer or if a used vehicle a warranty company.

Wear and tear is not covered under warranties and some warranty companies use this as an excuse if a component fails, there is a difference between mechanical failure and wear and tear. We will provide a report to the client with our professional opinion as to why the component failed.

Post repair inspections or inspections whilst undergoing repairs is a service we provide.

The insurer may wish us to undertake spot checks at a repairers to ensure that the vehicle is being repaired as per the agreed estimate and ALL the parts agreed are indeed being fitted.

We can provide a service to both the insurance company and private individuals to inspect a vehicle post repair and report on the quality and standard of the repairs carried out.
